The For Carnation performing Empowered Man’s Blues at ATP

Last year I saw The For Carnation perform at All Tomorrow’s Parties. It felt like quite a privilege as the band only re-formed for ATP’s tenth anniversary and I was delighted to see a band that I thought I never would.

The stage was dark, the volume was low and the crowd was a bit too lively. But at the end we all wandered out in a daze after the band’s brooding, minimal set.
